Come join us this year for our Winter Day Camp 2015 here at Tuscarora. The day camp is open to the Tuscarora community youth, in grades 7-12. It will be a 4-day, February 17-20, cultural and environmental camp during the student's winter break.

The 2015-2016 Tuscarora Scholarship applications are now available. You can download the application HERE, pick it up at our TEP office, or pick it up from the front office at the Tuscarora Indian School. Applications are due May 1, 2015 to the Scholarship Committee.
The program will provide, on an annual basis, two undergraduate full tuition scholarships to Tuscaroras matriculating at any community college or university in the State University of New York System (SUNY). The student shall receive tuition for the fall and spring semesters for four (4) years.
Corn Braiding Challenge
at Tuscarora Community Fair

Each team of two will be given 60 ears of unhusked corn, and they will need to husk, clean and braid a 30-ear braid of corn.
The winning team will be awarded a "corn basket" based on multiple components including time, appearance and strength of braid.
*The teams mae keep the remaining corn (30 ears) but it must be braided first.

Contact the TEP office at #2646011 to enter your two-person team. If you don't have a team mate, you can enter and we will try to match you up with a team mate. You may bring your own tools (loppers, spray bottle, knife, etc.) or use our Office's.
Entry deadline is Friday, October 17th, 4:00pm.
POSITION OPENING: We now have a full-time position open at our TEP office for an environmental technician starting immediately.

- B.S. in Environmental Sciences or related field is desired
- Be willing to work outside and within the Tuscarora community
- Native American applicant preferred
The position is 40-hrs a week, full time with benefits. Salary is commensurate on experience. Staff members work independently to prioritize and complete assigned tasks. Assignments are periodically checked for progress by the direct supervisor.
