| HEYC Adirondack Winter Experience 2010 February 15 - 19, 2010 |
 The Haudenosaunee Environmental Task Force is sponsoring the Haudenosaunee Environmental Youth Corps (HEYC) trip to the Adirondack Ecological Center in Newcomb, NY,
February 15-19, 2010. The FREE outdoor trip is open to any Haudenosaunee student currently in grades 10-12 and any interested parents or chaperones. There is limited space available so apply early. The deadline for applications is Saturday, January 30, 2010 The participants will be transported from Tuscarora, Tonawanda and Onondaga communities via caravan for the four-night stay at the Adirondack Ecological Center. Neil Patterson Jr. and Bryan Printup are leading the trip with assistance from 1-2 chaperones. There will be snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, winter wildlife ecology and ice fishing, all dependant on the weather. Everyone will be staying in heated bunk houses and cafeteria-style meals will be provided.
